The Air Jordan 4 was famously designed by Tinker Hatfield and is one of the best Nike Air Jordan silhouettes of all time. The collab follows a sail, blue and red colorway, with the translucent wings keeping the laces firmly in place.
The shoe features a foldable tongue that originally took many by surprise (us included). Chris Gibbs (Union founder) adds his signature touch to the Union LA x Air Jordan release in the form of the neat colorway and the translucent wings that support the laces on either side. Nike Air branding is located at the heel tab, while a stitched Jordan logo is present at the tongue. In addition to that, perhaps the most eye-catching detail is the shoe’s cream midsole and tongue.
Are Air Jordan 4 Comfortable?
The Air Jordan 4 is not known for being a comfortable shoe right out of the box. The older technology doesn’t offer much cushioning and the materials are typically very stiff. Usually, some break-in time is required.
Are Air Jordan 4 Good For Basketball?
While one could play basketball in an Air Jordan retro, it is not advisable given the more technically advanced modern basketball sneakers available. Today’s tech surpasses that of the 80s and 90s by leaps and bounds with respect to on-court performance.
