Nike’s classic forty-one-year-old Bruce Kilgore-designed basketball silhouette, the Air Force 1, joins the brand’s Valentine’s Day capsule.
Though lacking in overt references to the holiday, this take on the Nike Air Force 1 “Valentine’s Day” is just as much a celebration of love and affection. The overlays on the toe cap, the mudguard, the eye stay panel and the foxing are in dark Night Maroon. The signature profile Swooshes that embellish the medial and lateral mid-panels are in a Medium Soft Pink, matching the tongue tabs and the heel tabs while its darker counterpart marks the overlays, laces, and outsole. The base of the shoe, from the mid-panel to the toe box and tongue, then rounds out the palette in a warm, light cream shade.
What is the difference between Nike Air Force 1 and AF1 low?
They are pretty much the same shoe. Only difference is the af1 has Air Force one spelled out instead of af1 on the shoe and the midsole is lower on originals.
Why are Air Force 1s so popular?
The classic yet stylish look, proportions, availability, comfort and wearability all factor into the Air Force 1s popularity. Air Force 1s look great with most casual outfits and have a rich history that appeals to sneaker fanatics
