The Nike SB Dunk Low “Freddy Krueger” pays tribute to the villain from the Nightmare on Elm Street film franchise. The seemingly miniscule amount of these Dunks in circulation has helped them rise to legendary status, and become one of the rarest pairs to ever exist.

This extremely rare Nike SB Dunk Low features Freddy’s signature striped sweater covering its two-tone textile upper, while blood-splatters stain the Beige leather overlays. The design of the sneakers is largely based around the horror villain’s signature striped sweater, with other details including blood splatters, leather Swooshes and gory insoles inspired by Freddy’s face. Red embroidered Nike branding featured on the heel atop a Tan midsole and Black outsole completes the design.

Dunk vs SB Dunk: What’s the Difference Between the Sneakers?

The most noticeable difference between the two sneakers are their tongues. On the Nike Dunk, you get a slim, mesh tongue. On the SB Dunk, the tongue has been beefed up to provide more cushion and protection. By being thicker, the tongue helps with the fit as well. It enables the sneaker to mold to your feet, preventing any slipping or wiggling. The tongue is held down with elastic straps which provide an added layer of lockdown. As a bonus, it allows you to slip the SB Dunk on and off without having to mess with finicky laces.
